Multi Track Recording on a PSR9000 and 9000PRO

The PSR9000 and 9000PRO can record Songs with up to 16 separate Tracks. If desired, each Track can use a different Voice.
    1) Insert a formatted floppy disk.

    2) Press the [DIGITAL RECORDING] button.

    3) Press the [A] LCD button to select 'SONG CREATOR'. Click here to view the PSR9000 and 9000PRO LCD Controls.

    4) Press the [B] LCD button to select 'New Song'.

    5) Press the [C] LCD button to select 'Multi Track Record'.

    6) Select one of the following options:

      a) Select a Track for recording, Tracks 1- 8.

        1] Press any of the '1' - '8' Up Button LCD buttons to select 'REC' for the desired Track.

      b) Select a Track for recording, Tracks 8 - 16.

        1] Press the [D] LCD button to view Tracks 9 - 16.
        2] Press any of the '1' - '8' Up Button LCD buttons to select 'REC' for the desired Track.

    7) Press the [NEXT] button.

    8) Select the desired Voice. (Optional)

      a) Press any of the 16 'Preset Voice' or 12 'Plugin Voice' buttons.
      b) Press any of the [A] - [J] or '1' - '8' Up Button LCD buttons to navigate to and select the desired Voice.
      c) Press the [EXIT] button.

    9) Press the red [START/STOP] button or start playing the keyboard to begin recording.

    10) Press the red [START/STOP] button to stop recording.

    11) Select one of the following options:

      a) Saving the Song to Disk

        1] Press the [NEXT] button three times.

        2] Press the [G] button to name the Song. (Optional)

          a] Select a letter for the name of the Song using the Data Dial.
          b] Press the '5' Up Button or Down Button LCD button to enter the letter in the name of the Song.
          c] Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the name is complete.
          d] Press the '8' Up Button or Down Button LCD button to select 'END' when finished.

        3] Press the [I] to select 'SAVE'.

        4] Press the [G] button to select 'YES'. The data will be saved to the disk.

        5] Press the [G] LCD button to select 'OK' when process is completed.

      b) Re-recording or adding more Tracks

        1] Press the [BACK] button.

        2] Repeat steps 6 - 11.
