Downloading a Template to Create a Custom Style
This information applies to the following models:
9000PRO, CVP92, CVP94, CVP96, CVP98, CVP103, CVP105, CVP107, CVP109, CVP203, CVP205, CVP207, CVP209, CVP600, CVP700, PSR340, PSR350, PSR540, PSR550, PSR630, PSR640, PSR730, PSR740, PSR1000, PSR2000, PSR8000 and PSR9000.
Yamaha Style Files can be created on an external sequencer or computer. Yamaha has provided a Style Template file (template.mid) that can be used to create custom styles. Just open the file in Cakewalk or any other sequencing program, resave the project with another name such as 'latin.mid' then fill in the sections and tracks. When finished, rename the file with the extention '.sty'.

Download Procedure:

Click here to download the Style Template file. The 'File Download' dialog box will appear.
Extraction Procedure:

Double-click on the 'StyleTemplate.exe' application file that is located on the Windows Desktop. The 'WinZip Self-Extractor' dialog box will appear.
NOTE: The above procedure will save one file (template.mid) to the Windows Desktop.
