Jumper Configuration for an AW4416 Internal SCSI CRW Drive

A SCSI CRW drive has six pin pairs, located in the rear panel of the drive, that are used to configure the SCSI ID and other functions. For the SCSI drive to work properly with the AW4416, the SCSI ID for the drive should be set to 3. To accomplish this, the plastic jumpers should be inserted on the 'ID SELECT' pins '1' and '2', as well as on the 'PARITY' and 'TERMINATOR' pins.

Located to the right of the white 'AUDIO OUT' connector, the six pin pairs when configured properly should appear in the following order: Jumper ON/Jumper ON/Jumper OFF/Jumper ON/Jumper ON/Jumper OFF.

NOTE: If the CDR/CRW drive being installed was manufactured by Yamaha, the SCSI ID will already be set to 3.
