MIE-1 System

Effective September 1, 2006 Yamaha discontinued technical support for MIE-1 systems running MIE Software under HyperCard.

Please note that this does NOT refer to all MIE-1 keyboard systems, only those using the pre-1997 HyperCard MIE software. Note also that you can continue to run the older software – Tech Support for it is, however, no longer available.

There are several ways to determine if you are affected by this – here are some of the easiest:

1. If your software ONLY runs in black and white (no color) on your screen
2. If your Macintosh has both a Printer Port and a Modem Port

If you can answer YES to these questions, Yamaha no longer supports the software you are using.
