Founded in 2004 by Artistic Director Orbert Davis, the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic's main mission is to present high quality musical performances and music education programs that bridge gaps in genre, artistry and diversity. Education is a central and imperative piece of the widely-respected ensemble. CJP's programs reflect its commitment to education and development of future musicians and concert audiences. The ensemble prides itself on its dedication to serving and providing the community with as many performing opportunities as possible.
