A Yamaha Internship is a unique and rewarding experience
BUENA PARK, CA (December 22, 2003) — At Yamaha, interns are responsible for a wide range of duties and projects including data management, product research, inventory management, editing printed publications, designing brochures, ads, and promotional flyers, analyzing industry trends, and helping to manage workshops, clinics, and institutes. An internship is a valuable "calling card" for a career in any field. Former Yamaha interns have gone on to take important positions with some of the leading companies in the music industry.

Yamaha seeks outstanding candidates for its internship program, recognized as one of the most innovative in the music industry. For internships in music marketing, interested applicants should be completing their senior year or already possess a college degree, and have an exceptional academic record in either music, music education, music business, or a combination thereof.

Some important traits an internship candidate should possess are outstanding written and spoken communication skills, creative problem solving abilities, a working knowledge of computers, and experience working with a variety of software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

All in all, a Yamaha internship is a great experience for anyone who is interested in gaining valuable insight into the fascinating world of music business.
