Yamaha AW2816 MIDI Remote Template Thank you for using Yamaha products. AW2816 -- REMOTE -> Cubase VST Installation and Setup AW2816 Settings Load the "cubase.mid" bulk data file into a sequencer. Using a MIDI cable, connect the MIDI OUT of the sequencer to the MIDI IN of the AW2816 and play back the MIDI data. See chapter 13 of the AW2816 owner's manual "MIDI -- Sending the AW2816's internal settings via MIDI (Bulk Dump)" for information on receiving bulk data. Cubase Settings Go to the VST Remote window under Options -> Remote Setup -> Setup and set the remote to "Generic Remote." The Generic Remote window will appear; click the Edit button. The Generic Remote Setup window will then appear. Choose "Import" and then select the included aw2816.xml file. Function Overview This template allows remote control over Cubase parameters. Features The 32 VST faders, Pan, EQ and other Cubase functions can be controlled directly from the AW2816.
