AWM Voices

AWM features digital samples of the actual instruments which are filtered according to your touch on the keyboard, to bring you astonishing realism and expressiveness.

AE Keyboard

Authentic piano touch and expression is the promise, delivered in full measure by the AE (Action Effect) keyboard. Modeled on the same principles as a grand piano.

Dual Mode and Detune

Create thick, lush sounds with the dual mode. Choose any two voices and layer them together to produce new and evocative instrument combinations.

Split

This function lets you select different voices for the left and right sides of the keyboard.

Reverb

Add the spacious ambience of different rooms with digital reverb. By electronically simulating the way sound reflects from the walls, floor and ceiling, the built-in digital reverb adds extra expression and power to everything you play.

Effects

Digital effects allow you to alter instrument voices in a variety of ways ranging from the subtle to the wild. Effects include chorus, delays, rotary speaker simulation, tremolo, EQ and much more.

Accompaniment Styles

With 100 preprogrammed accompaniment styles available, it is difficult to think of a musical genre that isn't available at the touch of a button.

Auto Bass Chord (ABC)

Sophisticated auto rhythm, bass and chord accompaniment at just the touch of a button with ABC. Single Finger mode gives you a full accompaniment from as little as the root tone of a chord.

Chord Assist

Chord assist is a great way to discover and experiment with different chord voicings. Simply select a chord in the display, and the guide lamps above the keyboard illuminate to show which notes to play.

Harmony

Use the harmony function to automatically add harmony notes or up to three delayed decorative notes to melodies or chords you play on the keyboard.

One Touch Setting

The one touch setting function automatically sets the ideal voices and other parameters according to the accompaniment style you select.

Custom Style

Custom style lets you create and store your own original rhythm and auto accompaniment parts. There are 8 internal memory locations, or you can save your style to floppy disk for limitless memory capacity.

Registration Memory

Store complete control panel setups for one-touch recall with the registration memory.

Song Record

Song record is your built-in multi-track recording studio. With 16 tracks, song record lets you build up complicated, multi-part performances one instrument at a time. There is also a chord sequencer that lets you step-write chord sequences too difficult to play in real time. You can store your performances limitlessly to floppy disk.

High Power Output

The new CVP Clavinovas feature more powerful amplifiers to deliver the sound with true authority. The CVP- 79A are equipped with 60W x 2 amplifiers for a total of 120W of output power through twin 16cm woofers and twin 5cm tweeters housed in a bass reflex design cabinet. Twin 5cm monitor speakers are also mounted on the top panel.
