Piano owners expect their investment to serve dual roles: as a fine musical instrument and a fine piece of furniture. Yamaha M475TM (Traditional Mahogany), M475IP (Italian Provincial) and M475IPDC (Italian Provincial – Dark Cherry 44" Gallery Collection console pianos deliver the complete array of Yamaha M500 Series features in beautifully styled designs.

The M475TM reflects the elegance of 18th century English furniture. The Mahogany cabinet integrates a high-quality satin gloss finish and an inlay panel on the music rack. A new, larger tapered through-leg design with decorative routing and brass ferrules, along with wider arm and side panels, adds to the visual appeal.

The Walnut cabinet of the M475IP blends European styling with American craftsmanship. Its stately satin Walnut finish complements the open-design music rack, extended arm and side panels, and enlarged, routed square through-legs with brass ferrules. A brass escutcheon placed behind a brass pull-knob on the fallboard (a flourish also found on the M457TP), in additional to detailed brass buttons on the music rest, provides further refinement.

The M475 offers technically superior construction for enhanced sound quality and durability, including a permanent crown solid Spruce soundboard, full-length ribs, the patented Yamaha V-Pro plate, extruded aluminum action rails, a balanced action, uniform key travel and spruce keys.

The Yamaha ServiceBondSM Assurance Program is provided to the customer, without additional charge, 3-8 months after delivery of their piano. This service is a thorough check up and adjustment procedure to "rejuvenate" a piano after play-in and acclimation to its new environment. After 3-8 months or so of settling and becoming acclimatized, the piano will receive the benefit of a service visit to return it to the conditions specified by the manufacturer.
