 | | | | MIDI Compatible | | Through the use of MIDI, the WX7 can play synthesizers and tone generators, enter music directly onto computers and sequencers for noise-free multi-track recording, and change programmed settings on MIDI-compatible equalizers, digital delay devices, and reverb units. |
| Easy to Operate | | The WX7 uses the standard Bohm fingering and, in normal operation, can be played in two octaves. |
| Octave Transpose Key | | Allows the user to extend the total range of the instrument to cover 7 octaves. |
| Program Change Key | | The Program Change Key permits the selection of programs (on the connected MIDI sound source) from the WX7. To change programs, hold down the Program Change Key and press an Octave Transpose Key. The Top Octave Transpose Key (a) corresponds to program number 1 on the tone generator, the next Octave Transpose Key (b) corresponds to program 2 and so on down until Octave Transpose Key (f) selects program 5. |
| Pitch Bend | | Pitch can be bent on the WX7 by lip pressure as well as by a conveniently located Pitch Bend Wheel. |
| Breath Pressure | | The volume, vibrato, and tone of the connected MIDI sound source are controlled by Breath Pressure. |
| Key Hold | | A selected note can be held while playing other notes. |
| Dual Play | | Improves upon the Key Hold Feature by sending the lead line and held note on independent MIDI channels, giving a full sound by letting two separate MIDI devices be played. The end result is that two different digital instrument sounds can be produced concurrently. |
