This interface card installs in a YGDAI slot on the Yamaha 02R/03D digital mixers, allowing the mixer to be directly connected to an mLAN network. The CD8-mLAN also allows direct connection to computers which have IEEE 1394 ports, and a serial connector is provided for connection to computers that do not directly support IEEE 1394.
