NEW! Chaeyoung Park (South Korea) - Semi-Finalist e-Piano Junior Competition 2013

Newhall Auditorium Shattuck-St. Mary's School
1000 Shumway Ave
Faribault, MN 55021

Twenty-one performers from around the world converged in Minnesota in early July for the 2013 e-Piano Junior Competition. Chaeyoung Park, a fifteen year old South Korea native and US resident, has been studying piano since age six. She has won many awards in both South Korea and the United States, including her most recent accomplishments: First place and the Audience Prize in the IIYM International Piano Competition and being the youngest semifinalist and finalist in the Eastman Young Artists International Piano Competition in 2012. She has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Heritage Philharmonic Orchestra. In her spare time, Chaeyoung like to spend time with friends, draw, and read. This segment consists of her Semi-Finals performance, which features the works of Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Ravel, Lutoslawski and Crumb. This uncut, unedited performance was previously recorded at Newhall Auditorium on the campus of Shattuck-St. Mary's School in Faribault, MN on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
