In celebration of the impending 244th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven, Walter Cosand will perform an exciting program of solo piano music—broadcast LIVE from MIM as part of the MIM Musical Interludes Series. Cosand, a professor of music at Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute School of Music, has received multiple honors in his career as a musician, as well as degrees and a performer’s certificate from Eastman School of Music. Some of his awards and honors include the Eastman Concerto Competition, grand prize from the International Recording Competition and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts. Join us for this special daytime performance and celebration! This uncut, unedited performance is broadcast LIVE from MIM in Phoenix, AZ on November 26, 2014.
