22 outstanding performers representing 13 countries will gather at the University of Alaska Fairbanks to compete in the Alaska International Piano-e-Competition for more than $60,000 in prizes. This first phase of the competition - "Recital Round" - consists of a solo piano program of the performer's choosing. These 22 contestants' performances will stream through 10 different broadcasts (2 segments per day, held from June 29 through July 3). Ten of the performers will advance to the next phase of the competition, and will be announced on the evening of July 3.
