Twenty-one performers from around the world converged in Minnesota in early July for the 2013 Junior Piano-e-Competition. Costa Rica resident Daniel Eras, began piano lessons at the age of six, and continues his studies at the Castella Conservatory and the Department of Piano at the Institute of Superior Arts. He has received honors including first place in the American Fine Arts Festival in the Romantic Music Competition, and second place in the 33rd Annual Piano Competition of Ithaca College School of Music.
