NEW! Karrin Allyson
From the MIM

Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)
4725 E Mayo Blvd
Phoenix, AZ 85050

Four-time Grammy nominated singer and pianist Karrin Allyson is one of the most talented jazz artists of her time. Audiences are captivated by the warmth and depth of her sound, as well as her ease and authority performing classics from the Great American Songbook of Gershwin and Porter, and the Great Jazz Songbook of Duke, Thelonious, Miles, and Dizzy. Allyson's repertoire includes singing in a variety of languages--including French, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish--and multiple different genres--such as blues, bebop, samba, ballads, jazz standards, and more. Most recently, Allyson has released her thirteenth album Round Midnight, marking her twenty-first year with the Concord Jazz record label. This uncut, unedited performance was previously broadcast live on October 26, 2013 from the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ.
