Semi-Finals, Day 2
2019 e-Piano Junior Competition

Ted Mann Concert Hall, University of Minnesota
2128 So. 4th Street
Minneapolis, MN 55455
Earlier this year, 60 performers from 11 countries* visited one of 10 locations around the world—Chicago, Hamburg, Guangzhou, New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Moscow, Shanghai, Toronto, and Vancouver—to create virtual audition video recordings on the Yamaha Disklavier, the official concert grand piano of the 2019 International e-Piano Junior Competition.
In March, these video recordings (which activated the keys and pedals of a connected Disklavier) were recreated in Lloyd Ultan Recital Hall at University of Minnesota School of Music and evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges: Amy Hamann, Sara Hamann, and Dr. Kyung R Kim.
From these recordings, 25 contestants were invited to perform at the 2019 International e-Piano Junior Competition in Minneapolis, MN, competing for more than $20,000 in cash and prizes.
