Twenty-one performers from around the world converged in Minnesota in early July for the 2013 e-Piano Junior Competition. Evren Ozel, who began his muscial education at the age of three-and-a-half years old at the MacPhail Suzuki program in Minneapolis, has numerous accomplishments as a pianist and composer. He has performed with the Minnesota Orchestra and the Young Artist World Piano Festival Orchestra; as well as received awards for his performances and compositions including first prize in the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Youth Chamber Music Competition.
