Festival of Arts 2017

Festival of Arts, Pageant of the Masters
650 Laguna Canyon Rd.
Laguna Beach, CA 92651

LA Transfer is the newest West Coast commentary on an East Coast legend. Made up of four high caliber LA-based vocalists from around North America, LA Transfer delivers the tradition of vocalese through Manhattan Transfer classics, as well as MT-style arrangements of 1970s-2000s pop hits. Vocalists include Jenny Ing (Margo Rey Band, Brian Johnson, John Oates), Jason Maniscalco (Fame, Radio City, The Buddy Holly Story), Anne Walsh (Grammy-nominated international touring artist, faculty at AMDA, OCC), and Jeff Bratz (America's Got Talent, Cabaret, The 39 Steps); and are backed by an incredible trio including pianist Tom Zink (Grammy-nominated pianist/arranger, Yamaha artist), bassist Lyman Medeiros (Steve Tyrell Band, Michael Buble, faculty at MI) and drummer Chris Wabich (Grammy-nominated, Leonard Cohen, Sting, Mark Murphy). This performance was originally recorded live on August 27, 2017, at Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach, CA.
