Hundreds of students in America have been affected by the recent hurricanes — music education can provide a sense of normalcy and comfort as their communities recover.

How Yamaha is Sharing the Gift
In light of the recent hurricanes that have affected communities across the country, we are again partnering with the Mr.
Holland's Opus Foundation, which administers disaster relief to school music programs
through Music Rising.
The Share the Gift project invites music makers and people from all over the country to share their appreciation for music education in the hope that we can bring awareness to the importance of music education. We also want to replace lost or damaged instruments at schools affected by the hurricanes. The photos and videos we receive will help shed a light on the impact of music education and will help us donate instruments to those who need them.
