Clinicians
Tom Aungst
Tom Aungst is the Director of Percussion at Dartmouth High School and was formerly the Percussion Arranger and Caption Head for the Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. Mr. Aungst remains actively involved in the Drum Corps world, working with groups like the Blue Stars, where he is Caption Head. He is a member of the Drum Corps International Hall of Fame.

Jim Bailey
Jim Bailey, the Education Relations Director for D'Addario and Co., serves on the Percussive Arts Society (PAS) Marching Percussion Committee. Mr. Bailey has instructed for the Cavaliers, the Blue Knights, the Blue Stars, I2, and the Phantom Regiment winter percussion ensemble.

Michael Beauclerc
Michael Beauclerc is currently the percussion head of the St. Michael's College School Drumline in Toronto, and a consultant and composer for several additional scholastic drumlines in Ontario. His books "The Mad Practice Pad" and "Developing Modern Drumlines" have become the literal foundations for Canadian drumlines and marching percussion instructors.

Lee Beddis
Lee Beddis is Percussion Supervisor/Arranger for the Madison Scouts. His served as Percussion Caption Head/Arranger for Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, the Glassmen, and the Crossmen and Star of Indiana.

Dr. Andrew Bliss
Dr. Andrew Bliss is an active performer and educator and is the Artistic Director of the new music collective, the nief-norf Project. He has served as Front Ensemble Caption Head for the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, and as battery instructor/arranger for several drumlines including the University of Kentucky, Northern Illinois University, and the University of Tennessee at Martin. Bliss, the former Vice President for the Kentucky Chapter of PAS, received his Doctorate of Musical Arts and Master's degrees in percussion performance from the University of Kentucky.

John Brennan
John Brennan, the Associate Director of Bands at Plano East Senior High School in Plano, Texas, is a percussion consultant for the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps and a battery technician for the world champion Cavaliers.

Lamar Burkhalter
Lamar Burkhalter is Music Director for the NFL Houston Texans', "Bull Pen Pep Band" and serves on the Executive Board of the Texas Bowl. Mr. Burkhalter is also the Founder/Executive Director of Percussion One Foundation, a nonprofit percussion education and performance organization that performs for corporate, sporting, and community wide events around the Houston area. N8RHYTHM, Mr. Burkhalter's percussion education company, teaches and guides percussion curriculums around Texas.

James Campbell
James Campbell is widely recognized as a notable performer, pedagogue, and author. He is the Provost's Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and a former President of the PAS. Mr. Campbell is also a member of the DCI Hall of Fame.

Tad Carpenter
Tad Carpenter has been an instructor for the Sacramento Freelancers, Glassmen, and Velvet Knights. He currently works with drum lines for the University of Southern California Trojan Marching Band and the Tournament of Roses Honor Band. Mr. Carpenter is also Director of Percussion at Pasadena City College.

Adam Clay
Adam Clay is a nationally recognized percussion designer and an instructor for The Cavaliers. Prior to The Cavaliers, he was on the instructional staff with The Bluecoats after marching with The Cavaliers. Among his many clients are The Pride of Broken Arrow, Winston Churchill High School Band, and Hanna High School band. Adam has written hundreds of shows for high school, college and indoor groups across the country as well as founding the NBA's Memphis Grizzlies Drumline. He is published with Arranger's Publishing, Tapspace, Marching Show Concepts and Center X.

Dr. David Collier
Dr. David Collier is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Percussion Studies at Illinois State University. He is also Principal Timpanist with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the Illinois Chamber Orchestra.

Dominick Cuccia
Dominick Cuccia is a highly respected instrumental music teacher for the Paul Effman Music Service. Mr. Cuccia is also one of the leading authorities of "not-so-traditional" rudimental drumming. He is the author of The Beat of a Different Drummer; co-author of The Favorite Solo's of Campbell, Cuccia & Pratt and is currently working on a recording project for ESPN.

Dennis DeLucia
Dennis DeLucia is the only person to have been inducted into all three of the major Halls of Fame: DCI, WGI, and the World Drum Corps Association. He is well known for his work with the Bridgemen, the Muchachos, the Star of Indiana, the Crossmen, the Sunrisers and the Caballeros, as well as many high school and college bands.

Brian Fronzaglia
Brian FronzagliaBrian Fronzaglia is the Director of Percussion Studies and Director of Athletic Bands at Missouri Southern State University. He also is the director of the Kansas City Royal's "Royal Thunder Drum Line." Along with being the Coordinator of Percussion Activities at Miami High School in Oklahoma, he is a consultant for Gateway Indoor. He has also been on staff at The Glassmen, United Percussion and was a member of The Bluecoats.

Brandon Graves
Brandon Graves is the Faculty Percussion Instructor at The Culture House in Olathe, Kansas, where he teaches a full studio of private students. He is also the drumline instructor for the Blue Springs High School in Missouri, a perennial Bands of America Super Regional Finalist and Grand Nationals Semi-Finalist.

Ian Grom
Ian Grom is a performer, composer and educator. As a Front Ensemble Specialist and Caption Head, Mr. Grom maintains an extremely intensive teaching schedule at Los Alamitos and Chino Hills high schools. He is also Front Ensemble Arranger/Composer for the Pulse Percussion and is Electronic Consultant/Arranger with The Cadets.

Dr. Gifford Howarth
Dr. Gifford Howarth, Assistant Professor of Percussion at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania., is a national adjudicator for Drum Corps International, WGI Percussion and Bands of America, as well as several state-wide indoor percussion and marching band circuits. He has served on the staff of such groups as The Cadets, the Rochester Patriots, and the Syracuse Brigadiers.

Mike Jackson
Mike Jackson has been writing, teaching and designing shows for nationally recognized percussion programs in California, including the two-time WGI World Champions Mission Viejo High School, Riverside Community College and the Santa Clara Vanguard. Currently, Mr. Jackson is the Percussion Caption Head for the Bluecoats. He is a co-founder and current board member for the Southern California Percussion Alliance and sits on the Board of Directors for Winter Guard International. He is a member of the WGI Hall of Fame.

Tohbias Juniel
Tohbias Juniel is the director of Percussion at Legend High School in Parker, Colorado. Tohbias marched with the Cadets, the Troopers and the Blue Knights. He later taught the Blue Knights and was a caption head at the Troopers. Mr. Juniel is an in demand drumset player performing with some of today's top recording artists and also teaches at Legend High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Alan Keown
Alan Keown is a respected percussionist and teacher in the Pacific Northwest who has worked with nationally recognized performers and orchestras. He is Marching Percussion Specialist for Thurston High School and the founder of the Alan Keown Marching Percussion Camp, which is celebrating its 23rd year.

Dr. Michael Kingan
Dr. Michael Kingan is an in-demand clinician, educator, and performer. He is an Associate Professor of Music, and Director of Percussion Studies, at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Bret Kuhn
Bret Kuhn was a member of the percussion staff for the Cavaliers from 1984 to 2005 and a consultant with the Bluecoats from 2006 to 2008. In 2010 Bret served as Program Coordinator for the Colts. He is also an adjunct faculty member at Vandercook College and Northern Illinois University. He has arranged for numerous high schools and colleges across the country as well as Aimachi, an Independent Percussion from Japan.

Dave Marvin
Dave Marvin is the Director/Arranger for the Denver Broncos Stampede Drumline, Northglenn Percussion Theatre, and Longmont High School Winter Percussion. He is currently the President of the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association, and, in 2008, was inducted into both the RMPA and WGI Halls of Fame.

Kathy Marvin
Kathy Marvin has been the Front Ensemble Caption Head at Northglenn High School for the past 21 years. She is a percussion clinician at many Colorado high schools and maintains an active private percussion studio. Mrs. Marvin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Business from the University of Colorado at Denver and in 2010 was inducted into the Rocky Mountain Percussion Association Hall of Fame.

Ben Maughmer
Ben Maughmer is an Associate Director of Bands at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. Mr. Maughmer has 27 years of drum corps experience as a performer or instructor with organizations such as the Spartans, the Blue Knights, the Cavaliers, the Bluecoats, and currently, the Blue Devils.

Michael McIntosh
Michael McIntosh is the Percussion writer and arranger for the World Champion Cavaliers. McIntosh is a graduate of Butler University with a degree in Composition. Michael has been a long time design consultant with BOA Champion Carmel High School and also works with Gateway Indoor Percussion, a WGI Independent World Ensemble.

Colin McNutt
Colin McNutt is the Percussion Caption Supervisor for the ten-time DCI World Champion The Cadets. He has instructed and arranged for the Star of Indiana and Blast! as well as written for and instructed the Crossmen, the Glassmen, Magic of Orlando and the Madison Scouts. Mr. McNutt served on the faculty of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he received degrees in Classics and Music Education.

Dr. Dan Moore
Dr. Dan Moore, Professor of Music and Associate Director of the University of Iowa, is an internationally known performer, composer, and educator. He performs at percussion festivals and in concert halls in the U.S., China, Japan, Argentina, Malta, Mexico, Chile, and Sweden. He is a Board Member of the Percussive Arts Society.

Dr. Jeff Moore
Dr. Jeff Moore is Professor of Music and Chair of the Music Department at the University of Central Florida. He has also served as Percussion Director for the Madison Scouts.

Dr. Iain Moyer
Dr. Iain Moyer is the Director of Percussion and Assistant Director of Bands for the University of North Alabama. Dr. Moyer is also the Front Ensemble Arranger for The Cadets. Dr. Moyer received a Masters and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.

Dr. John Parks
Dr. John Parks is the Director of Percussion Studies at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas. Dr. Parks assists with all large ensembles and conducts the Smith percussion ensemble, African Drum Ensemble and the school's Brazilian ensemble, Escola de Smith. Dr. Parks is a former member of the Bluecoats and has taught on the percussion faculty at the Music For All Summer Symposium since 2001.

Dr. Nick Petrella
Dr. Nick Petrella is the Director of Education for The Sabian Cymbal Company and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Percussion at UMKC Conservatory. He maintains a full schedule as a performer, clinician, and teacher throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

David Ratliff
David Ratliff is the Director of Bands at Madison Southern High School in Berea, Kentucky. He holds two degrees from the University of Kentucky and is a former member of The Cavaliers.

Chris Rivera
Chris Rivera holds a Masters of Music Theory from the University of Connecticut. He is the band director at Norwalk High School in Connecticut where his indoor percussion ensembles have been WGI finalists. Chris has judged numerous marching bands, as well as state and regional music festivals for CMEA, USSBA, and MAC where he is currently percussion coordinator. He has also written and consulted for high school and college ensembles, theatres and drum corps.

Ney Rosauro
Ney Rosauro is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has appeared in solo concerts and as a soloist with orchestras or wind ensembles in more than 35 different countries. Mr. Rosauro's more than 100 compositions and method books have become standard in the percussion repertoire and have been recorded by major artists and orchestras worldwide.

Robert Sanderl
Robert Sanderl, who performed with The Madison Scouts, received a Masters Degree in Percussion Performance from Eastman. He is a busy performer, playing with numerous orchestras as a member, soloist or freelance drum set player. Mr. Sanderl also performs solo recitals at various schools and universities.

Amy Savage
Amy Savage was a member of The Cadets and served as Percussion Instructor/Arranger with the Garfield Cadets, The Bluecoats, The Glassmen, The Poynton Commodores (England) and The Starriders (Germany). She is an adjudicator for RMPA, CWEA, AIA and other indoor percussion circuits. Amy consults/instructs several high school marching band programs in the Raleigh-Durham area and is the Director of Marching Percussion at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Matt Savage
Matt Savage played snare drum with the legendary Bayonne Bridgemen and served as Percussion Instructor and Arranger for the Velvet Knights, Dutchboy, and the Bluecoats. He is as an adjudicator for WGI and the Director of Marching Percussion at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Andrew Spencer
Dr. Andrew Spencer, who holds the position of Professor of Percussion at Central Michigan University, is an internationally active recitalist and clinician. Dr. Spencer is timpanist with the West Shore Symphony Orchestra and has held similar positions with the Yakima Symphony Orchestra and the Cascade Festival Orchestra.

Naoko Takada
Naoko Takada is an internationally recognized concert marimbist of the highest stature. She won First Prize in the Young Concert Artist International Audition as well as many other international awards. She continues to "concertize" and teach marimba worldwide.

Ray Ulibarri
Ray Ulibarri is beginning his 18th year as a percussion instructor in public schools. Mr. Ulibarri was Percussion Director at Pomona High School in Arvada, Colorado, and a former Caption Head at The Bluecoats. He was the former Percussion Arranger for the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble and Crossmen. Mr. Ulibarri is currently at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas.

Clif Walker
Clif Walker holds a MME from the University of Central Florida where he was adjunct faculty, and a BSE from Missouri Western State University. Clif was Director/Arranger/Instructor for Timber Creek Independent, Timber Creek High School, Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps and is a former Member/Instructor of The Madison Scouts. He was the 1993 PAS Tenor Drum Champion, 1996 PAS Timpani Champion and is an active adjudicator, arranger, and composer. Clif is currently Director of Percussion at Blue Springs High School, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dr. Jon Weber
Dr. Jon Weber is currently an Instructor of Percussion at Michigan State University. Weber received a B.M.E from Oklahoma State University, and a M.M and D.M.A from Michigan State University. Weber has performed with the New York Solsti Orchestra, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, the Brass Band of Battle Creek, and the Santa Clara Vanguard. He has taught at Oklahoma State University and been involved with the award-winning Spartan Percussion Competition Line at the PASIC.

Dr. Brian West
Dr. Brian West, Associate Professor of Music at Texas Christian University, coordinates all aspects of the school's percussion program while simultaneously maintaining an active performance, clinic, and adjudication schedule.

Kennan Wylie
Kennan Wylie holds Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education from the University of North Texas. He teaches at Marcus High School where he coordinates the marching percussion program and several other percussion ensembles.

Jim Yakas
Jim Yakas currently is the Instructor of Percussion at The University of Texas at Arlington. Jim holds a B.M. in Music Education from the University of North Texas and a M.M in Percussion Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University. Yakas is past Director of Percussion for the Madison Scouts.
