Mark Clodfelter hails from Winston-Salem, North Carolina and is one of the most active performers in the Southeast. Clodfelter is Principal Trumpet of the Asheville Symphony Orchestra and the Trade Winds as well as split lead with the DiMartino/Osland Jazz Orchestra and the Kentucky Jazz Repertory Orchestra. Mark has also held positions with the Greensboro Symphony, the Western Piedmont Symphony, the Salisbury Symphony, the Greenville Symphony, and served as Artistic Director and Conductor of the Smoky Mountain Brass Band. Currently Mark is Professor of Trumpet at the University of Kentucky.
