Yamaha CVP100 Series Hits the Ground Running
Retailers and sales consultants nationwide were first introduced to the CVP103, CVP103M, CVP105, CVP107, and CVP109 when the Yamaha Piano Division showcased the new instruments during a 17-city, baseball-themed tour that was as entertaining as it was educational: the product specialists wore Yamaha baseball jerseys and divided their presentations into nine innings, each inning highlighting a particular aspect of the instruments powerful capabilities. The Clavinova CVP100 series is packed with new and enhanced features,
including exciting karaoke capabilities, Sweet Voices, Pitch
Bend/Glide, and built-in accompaniment styles that The dealers knew the new Clavinova digital pianos were going to have vocal harmony, but when they heard it for themselves, they were absolutely amazed at the incredibly lifelike sound, reports Yamaha product specialist Dane Madsen, one of a half-dozen Yamaha experts who put the CVP100 series through its paces during the tour. That reaction is translating into performance on the sales floor. Mike Evola, Vice President of Evola Music in Detroit began selling CVP100 series models in September. The new Clavinova series has been doing very well for us, he raves. The added benefits of the new series have helped spur additional sales. When customers have played any other digital piano and then play
the CVP100 series, they know hands-down that nothing matches a Clavinova,
says Todd Peterson, Regional Manager of Brook Mays Music in Dallas.
