CueTime Software Offers Advances in Traditional Music Lessons

Educators, beginning piano students, accomplished pianists and people of all ages have been attracted to the Clavinova for myriad of reasons - sound quality, versatility, advanced technology and durability. This major component of the ClaviSoft software library expands the Clavinova's already powerful features by providing a variety of accompaniment tracks for the musician.

CueTime has proven invaluable as a music education tool - its exclusive guide lamp feature has become particularly effective as a teaching aid. According to Yamaha specialist Craig Knudsen, "CueTime allows the player, whether a beginner or more advanced player, to set the tempo and have the orchestral accompaniment follow. If I play faster, the orchestra speeds up, if I slow down, the orchestra follows suit." CueTime is enhanced by the guide lamp feature that provides a visual aid to the player's performance, combining the learning process with the software's inherent interactive elements.

The CueTime software features a variety of titles, all created to provide the player with a creative choice of orchestral accompaniments. The goal is to make the experience easy and entertaining. To that end, the player can choose accompaniments from a variety of styles, including classical gems such as Schumann's "Wild River," Mozart's "Minuet in F," and Bach's "Musette in D Major;" contemporary selections, "Unchained Melody," "Love Me Tender," "Tears In Heaven," and "When I Fall In Love" and movie themes such as "Beauty and the Beast," "Moon River," "Forrest Gump Suite" and "On Golden Pond."
