Yamaha Expands Organ Line With New AR80 ElectoneÆ Combining state-of-the-art performance capabilities with a traditional look, Yamaha Corporation of America introduces the new AR80 ElectoneÆ organ at the 1998 Winter NAMM Show in Los Angeles. Ease of operation and an incredible selection of voices and sounds make the AR80 the ideal instrument for organ, digital piano and keyboard enthusiasts. The AR80 Electone offers advanced organ technology, including Yamaha Advanced Wave Memory (AWM) sampling in Yamahas state-of-the-art XG MIDI format, and a wide selection of stunning sounds and rhythms sure to appeal to any organ enthusiast or church musician. Voice selection includes 12 voice sections, 148 orchestra voices and variable settings for four organ types -- theater, jazz, electronic and classic -- and the rhythm section has 140 accompaniments with intros, fills and endings.
An on-board 3.5-inch floppy disk drive enables
musicians to record their own performances, and the AR80 can play pre-recorded standard
MIDI files or software from the interactive Yamaha Disk Orchestra Collection. Other
exciting features include: two 49-key keyboards: 20 footpedals; and a six-speaker,
200-watt sound system and the same user-friendly backlit LCD display screen as the AR100.
Pleasing both to the eye as well as the ear, the organ cabinetry on the AR80 complements
the traditional design with a classic walnut woodgrain. |
