An appreciative audience came out to support the acquisition of the Clavinova on a Sunday afternoon last summer. Truhel and soprano Karol Clark performed with pianist Dominic Garvey, former assistant choral conductor and vocal coach at New York City Opera under Julius Rudel and Beverly Sills. Selections for the program included music by Schubert, Puccini, Strauss, and Mozart, as well songs from a wide spectrum of Broadway composers.

“We now have a Clavinova and we’re tickled pink,” exclaims Susan Ghoreyeb, board member and performer with the theater. “The recital raised one-third of the cost of the digital piano. It also gave the community a chance to hear Jeremy perform.”
