As part of its educational efforts on the new Clavinova lineup, Yamaha developed and distributed to all ClavinovaÆ Digital Piano dealers a CVP Interactive Product Tour CD-ROM. The disk offers a highly detailed and interactive demonstration of the new Clavinova CVP98, -96, -94 and -92 models. As the second multimedia 'brochure' produced for this product line, the CVP CD-ROM provides dealers with a new tool to send home with prospective Clavinova buyers. Yamaha introduced a CLP Interactive Product Tour last year, showcasing the CLP811, -611, -511, -411 and -311 models.

Unlike a brochure, the CD allows the customer to see and hear the product, as they would during a private demonstration. With no fewer than three Yamaha product specialists serving as tour guides, the CD-ROM is unlike any in-store presentation; the "shop-at-home" CD offers customers an exciting multimedia tour. With a simple click of the mouse, consumers can learn about each feature of the CVP-98, -96, -94 and -92 model Clavinovas, while listening to the live piano sound of each instrument and other sounds. The customer has a hands on, interactive, fun experience that enables them to remember specifics about the digital pianos.

Choosing the XG "room," will allow the user to learn the differences between general MIDI and XG. By pointing and clicking their way through the section, users will be able to actually hear and compare differences. The Features "room" highlights and explains each feature in-depth with a multimedia presentation intended to give the user a better understanding of the features before their next visit to the dealer.
