Young Composer Gives Back to
Make-A-Wish Foundation

n 1989, the Make-A-Wish Foundation (an organization that grants wishes for children with serious illnesses) fulfilled the dream of a young cancer patient, Jetsun Jacobs, by sending him and his family to the Florida Keys to swim with the dolphins. Jetsun, now 18 years old, returned the favor when he was asked to compose a theme song and perform at the national Make-A-Wish conference in Orlando, FL last October. Yamaha Corporation and Keller Music in Orlando provided a C5 grand piano for his heartwarming performance. Jetsun's song, "One Wish At A Time," is just one of the many compositions he has written since teaching himself to play the piano and compose music. He also used a Yamaha C7 grand piano while recording his first CD, The Composer, which he describes as "alternative classical."
