"The Thousand Oaks location answers a need that our loyal customers have been expressing over the years."

Aside from offering the Ventura County community a more convenient store location, Keyboard Concepts has greatly enhanced the appearance of Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The town presented the store with an award for "Best Decorated Retail Store" last Christmas, acknowledging the dedication and impeccable design sense of Vice President Jeff Falgien.

"We're looking forward to growing in the Ventura County cultural community and making the full line of Yamaha acoustic and digital pianos more accessible to the area," commented Store Manager Dennis Considine.

Another store that is marking a milestone and expanding is Clinton's Music House of Tacoma and Olympia, WA. The landmark Tacoma location of this family- owned music retail business has been "a beacon for piano sales" according to the Olympian newspaper. Store owner Frank Clinton has been in the business for over 50 years, taking over from his father and grandfather, who founded the store 100 years ago. The distinct red neon grand piano atop the Tacoma store has been a landmark for area residents and is Clinton's signature logo.

Clinton's is truly a family business. Frank's daughter, Kip runs the Tacoma store while his son, Curt, operates the recently opened Olympia outlet. Although retired, Frank comes in almost every day. "I think my dad would be happy with the way we run the business today," he said.
