David Lanz Shares Music Across USA

ianist, composer and recording artist David Lanz shared his unique brand of instrumental music from the bench of a Yamaha grand piano last fall on three notable occasions. In October, Lanz headlined Comfort & Joy, a holiday concert to benefit the Seattle Times "Fund for the Needy" in Seattle Center's Mercer Arena. The following month, he presented a concert at the National Association for Music Therapy convention at the Regal Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. Kicking off the holidays in December, Lanz performed on a DC7 Disklavier® grand piano for a television audience on the HAVEN® Holiday Special, hosted by Joy Philbin. He was joined on the program by the legendary Marvin Hamlisch, Maureen McGovern and Regis Philbin.

A Seattle native, Lanz found his way from traditional jazz and rock n' roll to an unexpected career as one of contemporary instrumental music's most successful artists. His multi-million selling album sales include Cristofori's Dream, a No. 1 hit on Billboard's adult alternative/ new age chart for 27 consecutive weeks. His newest Narada release, English Garden, is scheduled for Spring/Summer 1998.
