world. Educational seminars from the more than 100 topics included classes
such as Internet for Piano Technicians, Performance Regulation and Voicing,
Manufacturing Systems and Quality, Details of Soundboard and Plate Refinishing,
Tuning, Design, and Manufacture, Player Pianos and Electronics, Piano

Yamaha
joined in the celebration by exhibiting and leading some of the classes.
Bill Brandom, Terry Niimi, Greg Frank, Mark
Wisner, Steve Pearson, and LaRoy Edwards represented
Yamaha and facilitated classes in Vertical Regulation, Introduction
to Disklavier Service, and Disklavier Masterclass. Yamaha also treated
the convention's attendees to a display at its booth featuring the Disklavier®

On the final night of the convention Yamaha hosted a reception and
provided a unique entertainment program - three Disklavier pianos synched
together with an XG module playing ensemble music. Also contributing
to the evening's music was a big band comprised of members of the PTG.
