The "#1 jazz festival in the world" (London Observer), marked its 20th anniversary with three weeks of concerts, film programs, and other events held in Bay Area venues. "San Francisco's festival is one of my favorites because it has remained true to presenting beautiful and deep-valued music," says GRAMMY® winning bassist Charlie Haden, as quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle. "Many artists decide to play Yamaha pianos after performing on them here," says David Coffman, director of production for SFJAZZ. Yamaha has been providing pianos to SFJAZZ for 17 years, and was once again the festival's official piano.
