Two modes for shooting conference participants
The PJP-CAM1 offers two modes for shooting conference participants. In "180" (forward) mode, the PJP-CAM1 is placed in front of conference participants to capture all of them. In "360" (upward) mode the camera points upward, shooting in 360 degrees to capture the faces of all participants seated around it.

Two modes suitable for shooting documents and objects
When the PJP-CAM1 lens is pointed downward, it can display documents like an overhead projector (OHP). With the zoom function you can project the entire document or just small details. No need to prepare multiple views of the same document ahead of time. You can even remove the PJP-CAM1 for use as a hand-held.

USB bus powered - no AC adapter needed
The PJP-CAM1 runs only on USB bus power (no other power supply required). By simply connecting to a PC with a USB cable, you can use it as a Web conference camera. Connection is simple, offering incredible ease-of-use.
Link PJP-50Rs for smooth Web conferencing
When you combine the PJP-CAM1 with the PJP-50R, the camera can automatically shoot in the direction of the talker based on the information on the talker's position detected by the PJP-50R. When participating in a Web conference with several people it can be difficult to know who is talking. But because the PJP-CAM1 automatically tracks and shoots the talker, conferences run smoothly.
*The PJP-50R and PJP-CAM1 are linked by the audio driver installed onto the PC.
*Linking with the PJP-100UH is also tentatively scheduled to be made available in the future.
