Notice of Corporate Name Change of Manufacturing Subsidiaries in Japan
Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter "Yamaha" or the "Company") announces that it has decided to change the names of two wholly owned subsidiaries of the Yamaha Group, Kitami Mokuzai Co., Ltd. and Sakuraba Mokuzai Co., Ltd., two companies primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of wood components for musical instruments, effective April 1, 2024.
1. Purpose of the Corporate Name Change
By changing the corporate names to names recognizable as part of the Yamaha Group, the Company aims to foster a sense of unity among Group companies and improve corporate recognition and employee engagement.
