Yamaha Commercial Audio Names Two NEXO Manufacturer's Reps
— Highway Marketing and R. Joseph Group join Yamaha's continuous effort in the growth of NEXO brand sales. —

Marc Lopez (YCAS), Rob Joseph and Paul Furtkamp (YCAS) BUENA PARK, Calif. — As part of a planned expansion, Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems, Inc. (YCAS) has added two additional manufacturer rep firms to spearhead sales of NEXO speaker products within North America.

R. Joseph Group, located in Columbus, Ohio, will be handling NEXO sales efforts in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania.
"The speaker industry is in desperate need of a new leader," states Rob Joseph, President of R. Joseph Group. "We firmly believe that NEXO is well positioned to assume this role with an unbeatable combination of high quality products, corporate stability, and dealer programs that directly address the challenges that most sound companies and systems integrators face today."

Scott Baker, Paul Furtkamp, Steve SimmonsHighway Marketing, based in Dallas, Texas, will be responsible for NEXO product sales in the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. "Highway Marketing is proud to represent a quality speaker line like NEXO," states Scott Baker, President. "NEXO speaker products will integrate well into our product mix, and both Steve Simmons (Vice President) and I look forward to a long–term relationship with Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems."

As NEXO celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, it completes its first full year of transition in becoming a wholly–owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation Japan, a partnership that provides customers with complete sound system solutions by utilizing products from both lines.

"We have seen enormous growth and interest in NEXO products in both the U.S. and Canada through the continued support of our loyal dealers and end–users, and the efforts of our NEXO sales and marketing team," states Paul Furtkamp, National Sales Manager.
