SIGNATURE MOUTHPIECES Yamaha's Band & Orchestral Division also recently introduced three new brass mouthpieces to its Signature Series, specially created for the trumpet. All three were designed and are used by top Yamaha trumpet artists Rod Franks, John Wallace, and Mike Vax. They bear the name of each respective player: YAC FRANKS, YAC WALLACE, and YAC VAX. All three models are currently available. "The ability to capture an artist's desired feel in a mouthpiece is a substantial feat," said Kurt Witt, wind instrument product manager. "We've managed to fit mouthpieces to the specifications of three of the world's leading trumpet players, bringing that design straight from the pros to our customers." |

PROFESSIONAL
VIOLINSThe first orchestral string instruments ever produced by Yamaha are the culmination of a unique design process that began with original instruments by Guarneri del Gesu and 3-D computer imaging. Precisely engineered tooling, and collaborations with modern master violinmakers, helped create an original design for the 21st century. Born from a harmony between tradition and technology, the V30 and V60 are ideal for the serious amateur and professional artist. |

The new electric violin is available in a four-string model and a five-string model. Both models feature gear-style tuning heads for accurate and long-lasting pitch control.
