Tohbias Juniel's Biography

Tohbias Juniel is a nationally recognized percussion clinician, writer, and performer. His appearance on the World's stage was made as a 12 year old child-performer performing with percussion legend William Ludwig Jr. In 2011 Tohbias was featured in Modern Drummer magazine after winning the drum chair for the 2011 NAMM Cover Band and was personally acknowledged by Fred Gretsch as, "... part of the future of percussion."

Tohbias has marched, taught, and written for world class drum and bugle corps, independent world class indoor percussion ensembles, collegiate percussion ensembles, as well as several scholastic concert and marching units. Today, he continues to perform with many of today's top recording artists while working in Los Angeles as a studio and live session player. These attributes come with continuously adding symphonic, pit orchestra, composition, and film scoring credits to his name.

Born in Denver, Tohbias was a student of Denver School of the Arts, later studying music and marketing at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Metropolitan State College of Denver. In the fall of 2011 Tohbias became the founder and CEO of DC Global Entertainment, a Colorado-based company designed to build bridges through performing arts with the constant intent to increase the knowledge and quality of the arts.
