Yamaha Places Gear on the Set of The Bonnie Hunt Show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 14, 2008) — Bonnie Hunt has been called the best talk show guest on television by Entertainment Weekly, but now she has the opportunity to bring her relatable comedic point of view to her own daytime talk show, and the producers have asked Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs, Inc., to provide a grand piano and keyboard for the house band and set. Nicholas Pike, the musical director, plays a C6 Conservatory Collection grand piano and S90ES synthesizer with workstation, and a C1 polished ebony grand piano takes center stage on the set.

Hunt's new one-hour daily syndicated show launched Sept. 8, and is being distributed by Warner Brothers (check local listings).

"We're honored that Yamaha is the trusted source for a piano by another talk show," comments Chris Gero, vice president of Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs, Inc. "We look forward to being by Bonnie's side throughout the life of her new series."

The Bonnie Hunt Show will be taped daily so Bonnie can offer her unique perspective on the day's events. From entertainment and pop culture to the news, Bonnie will talk to her audience and crew about anything and everything that's on her mind.

Comedian Hunt is a versatile and accomplished writer, director, producer and an Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award-nominated actress, earning critical acclaim in film, television and theater.

She's built an impressive film resume, including roles in The Green Mile, Jumanji, Random Hearts, Only You, Cheaper By The Dozen, Cheaper By The Dozen 2, Beethoven, Beethoven's 2nd, A Bug's Live, Monsters, Inc., and Cars.

The talk show will be produced by Bob & Alice Productions and paraMedia inc. in association with Telepictures Productions. Don Lake, Jim Paratore and Hunt will share executive producer responsibilities.
