Yamaha Provides Gear to New 'Megan Mullally Show'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 28, 2006) — Yamaha recently supplied gear to "The Megan Mullally Show," a new talk/variety program hosted by Emmy Award-winner Megan Mullally. Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs placed a Motif ES8 Music Production Synthesizer Workstation, a CP33 Stage Piano, and a DC7 Grand Piano on the set of the new production. Additionally, Yamaha artist Michael Ripoll has joined the house band on guitar playing an AES1500 Electric Guitar and a CGX171CCA Acoustic Guitar.

"Megan Mullally has an amazing career as an actress and musician, and Yamaha is thrilled to support her in her new venture. We supplied a piano for the set of NBC"s 'Will & Grace,' and we are happy to continue our relationship with one of its brightest stars," comments Chris Gero, corporate director of Yamaha Corporate Artist Affairs.

"It simply doesn't get any better than Yamaha keyboards and the Yamaha Grand Piano," says Bret Simmons, "The Megan Mullally Show" band leader. "I am thrilled to be playing on these elite instruments everyday on our show."

"The Megan Mullally Show" is an entertaining hour featuring a mix of celebrities, real people, music and comedy. It can be seen in national syndication in more than 95% of the U.S. and in all top 20 markets. Check your local listings for exact times. Mullally is coming off eight seasons as wisecracking socialite Karen Walker on the hit show "Will & Grace." She is also a musician in her own right with stints on Broadway in "Grease" and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." She is the founder and lead singer of the band Supreme Music Programs and has performed at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, Chicago's Goodman Theater, and New York's Lincoln Center.
