Lisa Viscuglia's Biography

A classically trained violinist and Yamaha Artist, Lisa attended Harvard University and studied with Fredy Ostrovsky of the Boston Symphony. Before moving to Las Vegas, she played under some of the world's greatest conductors including Leonard Bernstein, Seiji Ozowa and Mstislav Rostropovich.

Lisa began her career as one of the Sasha Semenoff's strolling violins at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. Over the years she has played with virtually every major performer that has appeared on the Las Vegas strip including Pavarotti, Plant and Page, Elton John and Sinatra. In addition to her work in the Las Vegas celebrity showrooms, Lisa has also been an integral member of several popular Las Vegas bands and shows including the Country Fever Show, the Naked Martinis, Country Knights and Killian's Angels as well as the Las Vegas pit orchestra for Spamalot.

Her television credits include many appearances on The Billboard Awards and The Academy of Country Music Awards as well as appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Merle Haggard (HBO special), Prime Time Country, Soul Train 25th Anniversary, The BET Awards, The Jerry Lewis Telethon and Great Performances with Andrea Bocelli at Lake Las Vegas.

As co-leader and founder of Bella Rumore, the all-girl electric string ensemble, Lisa has traveled the country extensively performing for corporate events and private functions. Bella Rumore is proud and excited to play all Yamaha electric string instruments for all of their events.
