Lisa Haley's Biography

Lisa Haley stands out as one of the finest violinists and vocalists in contemporary music today. Her soaring, compelling, "cornbread" voice strikes listeners square at their emotional roots. Soulful violin, strong original songs, and boundless energy attract the world to this fourth-generation "Fiddlist."

A RYKO/Warner artist, Lisa has worked with Sir George Martin, Grammy winner KebMo', Brian Setzer; John Hiatt; Toad the Wet Sprocket; and a host of others. She appears on camera in "The Beverly Hillbillies Movie", "Man on the Moon", "Red Dragon", and on the NBC television show, "Las Vegas," performing an original tune and playing "Slippin' & Slidin" with the legendary Little Richard.

The protégé and "adopted daughter" of legendary Cajun accordionist Joe Simien, she has toured with Grammy-winning artists Queen Ida, Al Rapone, and Rockin' Sydney. Lisa's music can be heard in "The Waterboy", "The Grave" and HBO's "Mr. Atlas" – which features her critically acclaimed song "Always Be Your Guide".

With four albums to her credit, Lisa's progressive "SwampRock" ignites the spirits of contemporary Christian, Rock, and Folk fans. She performs worldwide with her All-Star band, the Zydekats.
