Donald Palmire has been an active euphonium soloist and private teacher for over twenty years. He has performed as euphonium soloist with The United States Marine Band, The United States Army Concert Band, The United States Army Brass Band, The United States Army Orchestra and The Dallas Wind Symphony. He has also performed with The United States Army Brass Quintet, The United States Army Tuba-Euphonium Quartet, The Virginia Grand Military Band, The Hagerstown Symphony, The Harrisburg Symphony and The Florida West Coast Symphony. From 1987-1991, he served as euphoniumist and euphonium soloist with The United States Marine Band in Washington, D.C. During his tenure with "The President's Own," he performed numerous concerts across the United States and Norway. He has studied euphonium with David Fedderly, Arthur Lehman, Andy Russell, Don Kneeburg, Reese Dusenbury and David Dorrough.
