"The Yamaha Corporation came out with the YEB-321S Eb Tuba in 1977, which received my complete attention. It was in my opinion the first good E-flat tuba that had a great sound and good intonation. Since that time, Yamaha has developed the YEB-632S compensating Eb tuba. It has a gorgeous tone throughout the total range and has impeccable intonation. I selected this model to perform as a tuba soloist, in chamber music, and in orchestras and bands because of its carrying power and versatility."
