David Bryan began his career as a founding member and the keyboardist for Bon Jovi. While Bon Jovi was on hiatus for a few years, he turned his efforts to composing and writing lyrics for a variety of theatrical productions including Memphis and Sweet Valley High. He also wrote and recorded a solo instrumental album - Lunar Eclipse. A long time Yamaha endorsee, David utilizes a wide variety of Yamaha products including the S-80, S-90, EX5, Motif & 02R96. Bryan began using the Yamaha S80 digital keyboard and now uses the MOTIF8. Bryan uses an 02R96 Mixing Console in the studio with MSP10M speakers and SW10 subwoofers.
Biography:
David Bryan is the keyboard player, songwriter and founding member of the rock group Bon Jovi. After selling 95 million albums and playing to millions of people in more than 50 countries over the last 19 years, David Bryan makes his musical theatre debut as the Composer of the muscial, Memphis. David has been awarded several MTV and VH1 awards, an American Music Award and has received three Grammy nominations. He wrote and released his first solo record, "Lunar Eclipse" (Rounder/Universal) an instrumental collection, highlighting all of the aspects of his training and influences - blues, classical, jazz and of course, rock & roll.
